A commitment from public and private industry is essential to the revitalization of the urban community and to the mending of the fabric of American society. Community based and grass roots initiatives are helping to bridge the gap created by the lack of government aid. However, mobilization and organization of these community resources are required to adequately respond to the crisis of the urban community. Minority Athletes Networking etc., Inc. (MAN) is an active participant in solutions addressing this crisis. A medium for agencies that address the needs of youth and other underserved populations, MAN fosters collaborations that strengthen the fabric of American society. MAN's interests include: Mentoring Services for Youth, Academic Enrichment Services, and Economic Empowerment.
