| | MAN is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization committed to making a difference in the lives of the youth in our community, MAN seeks to bring educational, social and workforce development opportunities to these communities. The core of the activities is centered on a continuum of learning, academic and personal success, and leadership development. MAN achieves this goal through various methods: Stressing the importance of education and providing remedial educational assistance. Providing scholarship assistance. Developing mentoring strategies and programs. Developing partnerships with community leaders and corporations that believe in MAN’s mission and are willing to offer resources and financial support.
The ultimate measure of the MAN organization has been gauged by the difference we make in the lives of those we touch. We stand firmly committed to "Making A Difference" as positive role modes, starting right where most of us came from – the inner city. MAN’s mission to heighten the awareness of the tri-sate area’s youth regard such issues as: family, health, community involvement, and education. As positive male role models we provide proper direction and nurture the attitudes necessary to overcome any adversity. Our focus is to reinforce the positive and unique qualities of each individual through mentoring and self-help programs. |
