MAN etc. volunteers contribute to direct service mentoring activities sponsored by schools, community based agencies, and several civic organizations. These activities are categorized by three types of initiatives: (1) one-on-one mentoring, (2) group mentoring, and (3) role modeling to provide positive imagery. There are a number of MAN etc. Scholars that have expressed an interest in gaining transferable work experience while attending college.
